On-Site Report for October 27, 1999

World Whale Police Canadian Operations Officer, Julie Woodyer arrived yesterday from Toronto to join the Fall campaign and bring to Washington her vast animal rights activist experience. She has over twenty-five years as a speedboat pilot and as a veteran of numerous other campaigns including the Spring 1999 anti-whaling campaign here at Neah Bay. Julie is on the board of Zoocheck Canada, Vancouver Humane Society and an integral part of the World Whale Police. She is a longtime member of CFN and is without a doubt the most credentialed member of the World Whale Police team. Julie has long been a "captive issues" person as well as issues of harm in the wild. She is especially fond of whales and has taken a particularly agressive interest in the Eastern Pacific Gray Whale.
